An Honest Review Of Triond

When I published my first article on Triond, I immediately realized that something was wrong with this website. They seem perverted, in a sense that they are quite out of track.

I joined Triond in October 2011.
Till date, I have 20 something articles (I’m not excited about that site and I don’t want to go and count how many articles I have written so far). I have just under 2500 views and all I could earn is $0.90. Even my dog would shout “Eww!”.

What’s wrong with Triond:

  • The websites where we publish our articles are heavily sunk by advertisements. Smilies, pop-ups,
interstitials, in-video etc. – they show all types of advertisements available. This is a total turn-off to site visitors.
  • URL changes when we change the title of our article. Although the old link redirects to the new link, it is not favored by search engines.
  • Half of the users are complete spammers. If you can’t provide genuine comments, please stop spam comments like “Very good info”, “Nice one”, “Thanks for the info” and blah blah.
  • Share buttons are not placed on visible areas. We cannot find the Google +1 button yet.
  • Low earnings.

My first article
My first article on Triond is a health article and they published it under “shopping”. And it took 2-3 days for that article to be relocated to the correct website.

Why is Triond not compensating the users?
I don’t mean to say that they are scam, but they don’t provide a good competitive CPM. My highest CPM seems to be something around $2 and this is on healthmad.com. I’m

not the only one complaining about this low earning – around 99% users do this on a daily basis.

But Triond seems to be a rewarding place for seasoned writers
Extra-ordinary writers get featured on their hot content list and earn more exposure, views and earnings. Triond is also the main place where freelance writers on oDesk build their writing portfolio. Triond accepts content on every topic – poetry, home, adult etc.

Do I recommend Triond?
Yes, and No! Triond is definitely not for users who want to see money real quick without investing long and completely original content. Just as most users say, Triond is for users who are complete writing experts, or for complete SEO experts. In fact, I would recommend you to join ExpertsColumn.com which is a great site to get paid for writing articles. Also, join Moneybookers instead of PayPal to avoid more PayPal fees. EC pays you through Moneybookers as well, however, Moneybookers is compulsory for Indian authors and optional for others.
